  • Bodies Are Magic! (2018-2019)

Everyone has a body, and most people have complicated relationships with their bodies. In a world where body shame and self-hate is a tool of oppression, white supremacy, and patriarchy, experiencing joy in our bodies is a radical act. Bodies are Magic! invites an exploration the body as a space of joy, power, and liberation, inviting all participants and audience members to rejoice in the magic of their own bodies. • Light Rail Plays (2017, 2018)

This project pairs youth artists one-on-one with adult professional artists to create 5 minute, 2 person plays on and around our public transit system. Using a wide range of theatrical elements, including music, dance, circus, and masks, this is a transformative community experience not to be missed. (Description from Rising Youth Theatre Website)
